Troupe Hipnotica Tribal Belly Dance has been entertaining Seattle audiences at festivals and night clubs since 2002. Together, the members created a unique variation of ATS that has set the standard for high energy and mesmerizing performances.

After 11 years of a successful creative collaboration, the members of Troupe Hipnotica have decided to part ways and pursue new paths of growth and evolution within Tribal Belly Dance. Adriene Rice, Carmel Nicole Drage, Corie Brooke, Julia Demarest, Julia Sewell, Leana Sapra Johns, Lisa Donohue and Lynette Kanelos would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters over the years. All of us are thankful to have been a part of Troupe Hipnotica and we look forward to continuing to being a part of the Seattle Belly Dance community.

Cues & Tattoos will continue to be produced by Julia Demarest and Adriene Rice under the name Hipnotic Productions. As well, Hipnotic Apparel will continue to offer dancewear and accessories both online and at festivals across the country. Tribal Belly Dance classes are offered by Adriene Rice in her West Seattle studio, where students have the opportunity to both learn and perform group improv moves.

in 1896, Georges Melies, a magician and a theater owner, set out to turn the world of early cinema upside down. Le Cinémagician is an exploration of his over 531 films, A surreal and glamorous fantasy with dance, burlesque, opera, a little magic and a lot of glitter.

Set in the GORGEOUS carnival-inspired of the Narwhal Room (downstairs) at Seattle's Unicorn bar.
